The 2021 Pinot Noir Découverte Vineyard has expressive aromas of red cherry, cranberry, lavender, bitters and fennel. The light-bodied palate is bright and delicately styled with lacy tannins, nuanced flavors and a long, spicy finish.

A barrel sample, the 2022 Pinot Noir Découverte Vineyard has pure aromas of raspberry, strawberry, orange peel and mushroom. The light-bodied palate features understated, floral fruit. It has silky tannins, bright acidity and a long, spicy finish.

Intense fruit flavors, savory herbal undertones and a good, firm texture give much appeal to this medium-bodied, well-concentrated wine. Touches of spearmint, pine and cedar add to the black cherries and blueberries on the palate. Moderate tannins.

Rose petals, black cherries, dark plums, cloves and cedar all combine for a complex, broad and mouth-filling wine backed by moderate tannins. From organically grown grapes

The transparent ruby 2022 Pinot Noir Decouverte Vineyard comes from the Dundee Hills and offers a lovely, fresh perfume of preserved cranberry, cinnamon, fresh flowers, and mushroomy earth. Medium to lean in body, it floats on the palate with an even feel and a clean finish. I would drink this very pretty red over the next 4-6 years.
