A creamy and flavorful red that has aromas of raspberries, plums, chocolate and vanilla. It’s full-bodied and chocolatey, framed with medium-firm tannins. Drink now or hold.

Released with additional bottle age, the Michele Chiarlo 2020 Nizza Riserva La Court shows a soft side that is shaped by hot-vintage fruit and extra ripeness. There is a lot of intense blackberry in this fully loaded Barbera. The wine is layered with spice, leather and sweet tobacco. Syrupy crème de cassis appears on the close.

A polished, succulent version, this red features bright plum, blackberry and loam flavors, with spice and tobacco accents. Balanced, with a light grain of tannins on the trim finish.

“La Court” is a stunner of a Barbera! The nose is full of dark black fruits, sweet baking spices, mint and dried herbs. The wine’s structure is beautiful with fine tannins and vibrant acidity around a core of dark cherries and blackberries. This is a Barbera for your cellar (2025–2032)
