A subtle, smoky mineral layer simmers underneath yellow apple, peach and aloe in this lean, taut version. Warm hay and buttercream notes add warmth, while loads of fresh and dried herbs bring savory energy to the racy finish.

Such a bright and elegant Condrieu. I love the effusive apricot, mandarin orange and almond aromas with a discreet smoky touch of oak. Excellent balance of restrained creaminess, animating citrus acidity and fresh fruit on the medium-bodied palate.

Made in one concrete egg and one or two barriques, the 2021 Condrieu Les Grands Amandiers (Domaine) is in a floral, fresh style, not too ripe on the nose, but offering a generous, apricot-like flavor and round mouthfeel. It’s medium to full-bodied, silky in feel, with a long, slightly tactile finish.

The 2023 Condrieu Les Grands Amandiers commences with notes of zesty lemon flesh, yellow apple, white peach and a flicker of flintstone. On the medium-bodied palate, delicate apricot tones make an appearance.

White peach, honeyed lemon, and hints of minerality as well as flowers all emerge from the 2022 Condrieu Les Grands Amandiers, a medium-bodied, bright, racy, yet incredibly pure, seamless Condrieu. It plays in the bright, racy end of the spectrum but has incredible purity and vibrancy
