The 2022 Beaune Grèves le Clos Blanc 1er Cru follows up its impressive showing last year. There’s wonderful purity on the nose with yellow plum, meringue and wisps of candy floss, yet underneath, you can feel the terroir expression that will come through with time. The palate is very well-balanced with a fine silver bead of acidity. One of the most tensile and energetic of Jadot’s whites, with Conference pear and gooseberry popping up on the finish. This will be fascinating to watch age in bottle.

An intense white, despite its lithe feel and silky texture. Shows lemon oil, peach, mineral and baking spice flavors that prevail, with a lingering finish, courtesy of lively acidity.
