Bollini Merlot comes from Trentino, where the clay soils in the cool, dry highland vineyards are ideally suited to producing clean, elegant and aromatic wines of great charm. Hand harvested grapes are destemmed and crushed, and vinification is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation in large oak casks.
Harvest Note
2024 was characterised by a mild and rainy winter. Spring was characterized by copious rainfalls. In the first half of April temperatures were above average, while in the second half some valleys have been hit by frost. May and June were very rainy, and this has affected the flowering. In July and August the temperatures were above average, a few rainfalls, and this has allowed a good ripening of the grapes. The grapes were harvested at the end of September/beginning of October. The quality of the grapes was good, with fruity and fresh notes and good acidity. In terms of quantity the harvest has been poorer than the forecasts and below the average of the last years.
Tasting Note
Rich ruby with garnet reflections. Fruity on the nose with hints of spices, red fruits and pink pepper; dry, mouth-filling and harmonious with elegant tannins, very well balanced by the acidity; very long on the finish.

Merlot
Merlot makes plump, succulent wines to drink young or opulently massive wines for aging. Has silky, blackberry and currant fruit, with spice, earth, tobacco and chocolate notes, and soft tannins.
