Jadot’s numerous long-term relationships with wine growers guarantee that the highest-quality fruit is sourced every year from vineyards across the Burgundy appellation. To further elevate the quality, Jadot practices réplis, or declassifying some wines of higher appellations, which are added to the final blend.

Harvest Note
The 2017 vintage for Burgundy was strong, however, there were some challenges. Vines flowered late and were affected by frost resulting in yields below the regional average. Despite that, the grapes were in a perfect state of health fostered by increased levels of rain in August and by the harvest in early September. They were picked when at excellent ripeness levels.
Tasting Note
Purple hue with violet glints. This vintage has intense aromas of red and black fruits (cherries, blackberries). Tannins are well integrated and supported by a vibrant freshness in the finish. It is enjoyable in its youth for its vivid red fruit yet will easily age for 5 years to reveal more subtle floral and spice tones.
Food Pairing
Enjoy with grilled or red meats, roasts, mild game, soft cheeses like Camembert and Brie.
