The strength of the Beaune appellation is grounded in its 337 hectares of premier cru vineyards, which offer great stylistic diversity. Founded in Beaune in 1859, Maison Louis Jadot has always focused on the terroirs of these premier crus, emphasizing their huge potential. When presented with a truly great vintage Jadot takes the opportunity to create a Celebration of the Beaune premier crus. This is drawn from selected lots across Jadot’s holdings in 17 Beaune premier crus, including Clos des Ursules, Boucherottes, Aux Cras, Clos des Couchereaux, Bressandes, Theurons, Grèves, Avaux, Chouacheux, Cent Vignes, Toussaints, Vignes Franches, Pertuisots, Aigrots, Clos du Roi, and Reversées. These terroirs are featured on the unique front label. Jadot has produced Beaune Celebrations in the vintages of 2009, 2012, 2015 and now 2018.

Harvest Note
2018 produced a vintage of historic quality. The hot and dry summer season brought the grapes to complete and uniform maturity with no adverse elements to sort out. Fermentations proceeded steadily and the wine began its extended aging in barrels in the Jadot cellar for 18 months, followed by an additional 6-month period of refinement in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Note
The thoroughly ripe grapes conferred a deep color to this wine as well as an opulent texture. Aromas of dark berries are intertwined with hints of mocha and spice which evolve over the long and persistent finish. This wine has both the elegance and density to age for many years to come.
Food Pairing
A perfect match for all grilled meats, tangy cheeses, and choucroute. With time this will soften and harmonize to accompany grilled tuna or salmon.
