Brunello la Fuga perfectly represents the territory where it is born. In fact, the southwest exposure towards the Tyrrhenian Sea and the soils rich in sediments of the historic area of Camigliano enrich the Sangiovese
grapes of Tenuta la Fuga with polyphenols, content of which increases thanks to the long aging in 25hl oak barrels. Its tasting shows a fascinating and engaging character as only Brunello can reveal.

Harvest Note
2019 started with a rather regular winter both in terms of temperatures and rainfall; despite these weather conditions, the vineyards began budding one week earlier than the historical average registered in the area. The spring period, May in particular, was characterized by frequent rains and temperatures slightly lower than usual, while the months of June and July were dry and quite hot, without however ever showing extreme conditions. Some rain in August and a dry and windy period in September and October allowed the grapes to ripen perfectly, thus guaranteeing a good sugar content and an excellent polyphenolic concentration.
Tasting Note
Full-bodied and juicy on the palate, with firm, velvety tannins. Concentrated flavors and a long finish. Perfect balance between taste and aroma.
Food Pairing
Meat, game and aged cheeses.
