Taylor Fladgate, Fonseca and Croft Ports were showcased at Aspen Food & Wine Classic’s “Last Bite Dessert Party.” A series of events featured Fonseca BIN 27, Taylor Fladgate 10 Year Old Tawny and Croft PINK paired with Jacques Torres artisanal chocolates, and paired with “chunky blondies” and other gourmet cookies presented by cookbook author Dorie Greenspan.
The events were hosted by TV personality and Food & Wine’s Director of Special Events Gail Simmons, and star pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini prepared desserts. The event attendees were joined by celebrity chefs Ming Tsai and Andrew Zimmern.
In the tents, Maison Louis Jadot’s Beaujolais-Villages and Mâcon-Villages wines were presented, along with Caposaldo’s Sweet Pink Merlot Moscato and Sweet Moscato sparkling wines, and The Seeker Pinot Grigio, Red Blend, Riesling, Rosé and Pinot Noir.
