Full bodied yet supple red wine from gamay vines in the prestigious Morgon Cru Beaujolais zone. Old vines here are ideally suited to the harsh summer conditions and the unique diorite volcanic soils. These wines are fermented slowly with natural yeasts, and aged in concrete vats, stainless steel tanks, and oak barrels. The final assemblage is a true ambassador for this fine Cru of Beaujolais.

Harvest Note
2020 was a vintage full of challenges including frost, heat spikes, drought and humidity at various points in the season. Despite these events the wines show a profound delicacy and generous texture yet with the structure to age for many years.
Tasting Note
Quite dark in color, this wine tends to be dense and chewy upon release, with an internal power and bold structure. The stony and earth elements are prominent early, slowly diffusing into mocha, black fruit, and hints of white peppar.
