Stefano Chiarlo is the winemaker of Michele Chiarlo and President of the Associazione Produttori del Nizza.

Barbera is the most planted variety in Piedmont, and it is in Nizza where it “finds its most dazzling expression” (Decanter). Previously part of Barbera d’Asti DOCG, Nizza was elevated to its own DOCG in 2014. It has one of the strictest set of regulations in Italy. Featuring wines from Michele Chiarlo and lunch.
